About Me
I am an LGBTQIA+ confirming psychotherapist and my pronouns are She/Her. I have a
Masters of Social Work and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology. I concentrated on Cognitive
Behavioral Therapy in graduate school and have a lot of knowledge regarding Psychodynamic
theories as well. I am trained in crisis intervention, including suicide prevention and intervention
through Common Ground, where I worked on the crisis support hotline. I specialize in treating
anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and suicide prevention. I also have experience
working with substance abuse, working in both inpatient and outpatient therapy settings, and
experience with people of all ages.
About You
I am client centered and solution focused, meaning I meet clients where they are at and
guide them at their own pace towards achieving their treatment goals. I like to incorporate a
holistic approach through mind, body and spirit practices when suitable. My goal is to provide
you with support and guidance while navigating through the changes you would like to see in
your life. I work to create a personalized treatment plan with you because everybody is different
and requires different levels of support. I am always open to feedback and want to hear what is
actually benefiting you! I look forward to getting to know you with an open mind in a safe,
judgment-free environment.
My beliefs
I believe in self acceptance, in empowerment, in building resilience, in growth and not
letting the past define you. I believe in having grace and compassion for yourself, as we are all
battling things that we might not talk about. I believe in radically accepting what is, what cannot
be changed, and moving forward anyway. Taking the first step is the hardest, but I will be here to
help you with the next!
