“I understand now that I'm not a mess but a deeply feeling person in a messy world.” — Glennon Doyle

If you’re feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or like you’re carrying more than you should—you’re not alone.

I work with children, teens, and adults who are navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, and life transitions. Whether you’re a parent worried about your child, a teen feeling misunderstood, or an adult trying to make sense of past experiences—you don’t have to figure it out alone.

What I Help With

I specialize in:

  • Trauma & PTSD
  • Anxiety & emotional overwhelm
  • Parenting and family stress
  • Relationship challenges
  • Life transitions

Using evidence-based approaches like EMDR therapy, CBT, DBT, and play therapy, I help clients build real tools—not just talk about problems.

Your Story Makes Sense

You may be carrying experiences that feel heavy, confusing, or difficult to put into words. Maybe you’ve been holding everything together for so long that exhaustion has become familiar. You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy.

Trauma can shape how you see yourself, your relationships, and the world around you. You might feel anxious, emotionally overwhelmed, disconnected from your body, or stuck in survival mode. Certain situations may feel triggering without a clear reason. These responses are not random—they make sense in the context of what you’ve been through.

In therapy, we create space to understand those patterns with compassion, not shame, helping you feel more grounded, aware, and supported.

A Trauma-Informed Approach to Healing

Healing doesn’t happen all at once—and it shouldn’t have to. In our work together, we will move at a pace that feels safe, steady, and supportive for you. I take a trauma-informed, client-centered approach to therapy, focusing on creating emotional and physical safety for both the mind and body.

I integrate evidence-based and holistic methods, including:

  • EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing)
  • Somatic therapy (mind-body connection)
  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
  • Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT)

These approaches can help you build coping skills, regulate emotions, process past experiences, and better understand how trauma impacts your nervous system, beliefs, and relationships. Together, we’ll work toward greater calm, connection, and self-trust.

Support for Anxiety, Trauma, and Emotional Overwhelm

I work with individuals navigating:

  • Trauma and PTSD
  • Anxiety and chronic stress
  • Emotional dysregulation
  • Life transitions and identity exploration
  • Feeling disconnected, stuck, or overwhelmed

My goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can explore your experiences and begin to reconnect with yourself.

A Space Rooted in Compassion and Connection

I believe that meaningful healing begins with feeling seen, heard, and understood. My approach is warm, grounded, and relational, allowing you to show up as you are—without pressure or expectation. Therapy is not about “fixing” you, but about supporting you as you make sense of your experiences and move toward the life you want.

More About Me

I grew up in Northern Michigan and moved to Metro Detroit in 2018 to continue my education. Outside of my work as a therapist, I enjoy spending time with my family and our dog, Daisy. I love traveling, exploring new places, and finding small moments to slow down and be present.

Both my personal and professional experiences have strengthened my belief in the importance of compassion, human connection, and creating space where people feel safe, supported, and truly understood.
