“There are moments when one has to choose between living one’s own life, fully, entirely, completely-or dragging out some false, shallow, degrading existence that the world in its hypocrisy demands” - Oscar Wilde

The weight of it all

Heavy life circumstances are inevitable. You’re feeling that it’s impossible to carry this any longer.  You need help you don’t know where to turn.  You’ve tried in the past and you can’t bear the thought of being here again.  There is hope.  I believe change takes place when you get support, guidance, and direction. When you start counseling with me, you will be the main person in the room. Everyone comes to therapy with different needs and requires a unique therapeutic approach. My goal is to empower you to be courageous and change because it is an important investment in your well-being.

Meet you where you’re at

I have training and experience working with the Trauma-Focused Model, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Play Therapy. I provide mental health assessments while offering a safe space. In addition, I have extensive practice in teletherapy if you would like an alternative setting. When working with children or adolescents, I provide parent sessions for additional support whether it is behavioral issues, stress, and second-hand trauma. I welcome all ages and individuals from different walks of life.

You can heal

A human brain is a fascinating place, and if a person is always going to be there, why not make it a safe place? Growing up, I’ve always wanted to be on the front line to help children and families. I continue to gain the trust of youth and families to enable them to realize their potential. I consider it the greatest opportunity to be helping children/adolescents navigate through a difficult situation and to positively impact their circumstances. I have earned both my Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work and have chosen to take the clinical route to practice mental health counseling.
