Therapy can be healing
I believe everyone is capable of change and healing. The process can be overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. My goal as a therapist is to create a safe, welcoming, and inclusive space for all to overcome their adversities. I am here to support your individual needs/goals, draw on your personal strengths and help facilitate the stages of change. I have experience providing individual and group therapy services to children and young adults. I have worked as a clinician in inpatient psychiatric hospitals, residential facilities, and public schools. My approach to therapy is always person-centered, strengths-based, and trauma-informed. Some of the mental health concerns I treat include anxiety, depression, mood disorders, self-harm, suicidal ideations, trauma, stress, grief/loss, and relationship difficulties.sSafe Exploration
Therapy is more than identifying problems and creating solutions. Therapy is an opportunity to explore the connections between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors and create healthy, realistic, and sustainable change. Change happens through connection, processing our experiences, learning new skills, and restructuring our thoughts and behaviors. Some of the skills I teach include (but are not limited to) coping skills, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, relationship skills, cognitive restructuring, mindfulness, self-awareness, and emotion regulation.Similar Therapists
